I don't get why people choose to be Jeremiah's team, he's one of the most immature characters ever, at first I liked him, he was nice and cute, but for the last 100 pages we lower himself a lot. And I don't understand at all the way he loved Belly, cause is kwon he do, but sometimes I felt his love was more brotherhood kind, a friend told me she thinks he loved her but wanted to keep her because was Conrad's. Not meaning Belly is owed. But we know, she had always preferred Conrad. During the groom shower, when he laughs at his cheating and singing "Like a Virgin" was awful, since then I can't stand him.
About Belly, I liked her, I thinks she is sometimes a little too much idealistic, I understand his love and idealism around Conrad, and i get too why she quits him and start dating his brothers, because for that time Jeremiah seemed as a good option, but in the third book she go out for my nerves, she acted so immature too, so clinging, and even so desperate. I kinda hated her when she was dating Conrad, his mom was dying and she never understood him, she acted all time like she was the centre of universe, and according the situation she was not. She lower her self for one boy over and over again, but I liked her, i mean by the end she still being romantic, she deserved the greatest love story.
And my beloved Conrad, my protected boy, he had the best character development, and that evolution make me sympathize with him, is understandable his reaction in almost all the first book, in the second book he development one of the two things i think describe him the most; his big brother protection skill. When its about love, I love all types of love, specially family one, and in this trilogy i think is the most visible, Conrad loved so much his brother, he gave everything he loved and wanted for him. He protected him over all, and thats beautiful. So, yes, Conrad always has been THE option, our tortured, kind and beloved boy.
